Little Turtles Academy was created from a desire to offer families a childcare experience that is warm, meaningful and culturally grounded. As an Indigenous-owned childcare centre, our story is rooted in Indigenous perspectives that honours respect, connection, responsibility and care for the natural world.

These values are woven into the heart of our centre; from the relationships we build with families, to the way children learn, play, explore and grow each day. We believe children thrive when they feel a strong sense of belonging and when their learning is connected to culture, community and the land.

While our roots are Indigenous, our doors are open to all families. We welcome and celebrate diversity and we believe children grow stronger when they learn together in an inclusive, safe, respectful and caring community.
